The Drama Boosters is made up of parents and volunteers. The group is very important to the success of our school productions. We are always looking for new faces to share ideas and input to make our Century Knights shine!  We meet the first Wednesday of each month.

* PLEASE NOTE: that the meeting dates have been altered due to the March date’s proximity to the show! Please note that upcoming dates will be Wednesday, January 25, February 8 and February 29. Parent Pizza Night will be February 1.

** PLEASE NOTE: Drama Boosters has an opening for Treasurer to serve out the remainder of this year. Cindy Walls would like to step down. Please contact Kendra Roberts at kendra.roberts@verizon.net for more information or if you know someone that might be interested.

Mr. Lucas Hewitt

Century High School Drama welcomes Mr. Lucas Hewitt as the Drama Department Director. Mr. Hewitt received his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a concentration in performance from Marymount Manhattan College in NYC.  During his time at MMC, Mr. Hewitt studied abroad for a semester at Richmond University, the American International University in London where he concentrated on classical theatre and film and performed in the West End in London’s equivalent of an Off-Broadway production.  After returning to NYC and performing in various Off-Off-Broadway productions, he began his brief career as a playwright, writing the play “Sensory,” which was originally performed at The Manhattan Repertory Theatre in 2007.  Mr. Hewitt is currently in the process of finishing his Master of Arts in Teaching at Notre Dame of Maryland University in Baltimore.  He feels very fortunate to be the Drama Teacher and Drama Department Director at Century High School and is looking forward to another great year!
