Hi everyone! I’m Vanshika Pallerla, and I’m thrilled to be serving as the president of the Opening Knights for the 2024-2025 season! I’ve participated in the Drama Club every year of high school, and I started my journey in the ensemble of our production of Chicago. Then, I continued my experience with Century Drama in the ensemble of Curious Incident, and then had my first featured role as Lavender in Matilda! In our most recent season, I played Ashley in our Fall One-Acts, Caroline in our ITS competition piece (By the Bog of Cats), and Wednesday in The Addams Family. I couldn’t be more excited for the upcoming season, and I look forward to continuing to foster the plentiful talent and energy that is present in the club! Drama Club has been the source of some of my best memories at Century, and I can’t wait to make many more this year. My vision for this year is to encourage collaboration between every member of the club, whether they be part of the tech crew or cast. I also want to build leadership within the club by opening up opportunities for more contribution from the members of the club. Here’s to yet another incredible season with the Opening Knights!
